Didn't make it out fishing tonight. Instead I spent my time re-finding my tacklebox, put new line on the rods and tied up a couple flies.
The boss is letting me take an extra extra long weekend so I'll be fishing the next 4 days.
First thing in the a.m. I'll start in Grand Rapids on the Grand River, then head north and see some fall colors (Bringing the wifey) and hit the favorite spots in Petoskey, charlevoix, and Boyne City.
If they are not producing we will most likey flip a coin and either go west to Tippy dam or east to Au Gres (my uncle said they were doing good at the singing bridge) I've never fished either place before so I'll happily take any hints any of you have about those places.
The longer you don't hear from me means fishing is good. I'll report and hopefully post pictures once I get back Sunday.
