[cool]Flowers, dinner and dancing, candy, diamonds. Oh, you meant for fishing?
I probably use some form of leadhead jig for over 80% of the fishing I do...for all species, in all waters...fresh or salt. The species, time of year, water temp and clarity and other factors determine the size, color and action I employ.
Man, you attend a tackle show or visit a major "tackletorium" and you can be overwhelmed with the choices. The good news is that almost any lure will catch something...sometime. The bad news is that you can spend a lifetime, and a fortune, experimenting to find which ones work best for any particular situation.
You can get a lot of opinions, but you are never going to get a "one-lure-fits-all" answer.
Is there a specific species or time of year you have in mind, or are you just trying to start a thread that will take two years to wind down?
Are we having fun yet?
