Killer report. You're making me wish I was in the great state of Florida. Fishing is so slow here I almost forgot how to reel one in. LOL
I'm curious about something. I noticed you mentioned the water was blue when you were so successful with the Kings. I know here, it seems that the kings are thicker in a water with a blueish-green tint, not pure blue. The blue water is prefered for Mahi, Tuna, Wahoo, etc....
Did you happen to have a thermal image of the water you were fishing? I was also curious if the fish were heavy in a constant water temp flow or in the areas of thermo line changes.
