the narrows used to be much better than it is now. Unless of course you hit it right after the hatchery truck has left, then there will be holes that are stocked pretty tight with fish. But compared to 7 or 8 years ago- even 2 or 3 it isn't the same river. when the flows changed, cutthroat were talked about as if they could make a come back (not) and the brown stocking stopped and they were thought off as a 3 rd class fish- it started going down hill in a hand basket. The hatches are even different than they used to be and the fish feed to them differently also. I used to put no less than 3 days a week from Riverdale to the Power Plant in but as the fishing digressed so did the amount of time I put in there. I DO NOT want to see a dam put in there even if the river was barren of fish though.
