Lower Mountain Fork River: The powerhouse has been very active lately releasing water in the morning hours and again in the evening. This makes fishing in zone two a real problem. Night fishing is a possibility, but be sure you have a buddy with you. This morning the guys were catching trout on #22 thread midges, caddis emergers, and wooly buggers. Other good flies have been soft hackled "spiders", copper john, egg patterns, San Juan worms, etc. Lots of small tan caddis and small black caddis hatching, as well as a multitude of midges.
