Come down Gentile till you get to the radio towers and drive another 300 yards. You enter through a DWR gate with a cattle guard. Drive to the parking lot and fallow the road/trail across the canal and hang a right toward the lake for a while. If you stay on the trail, you should find a pond and it is loaded with geese in the early mornings.
Also, try and hunt salt creek a time or 2. One in 5 ducks out there has a band.[
