Most of those stockers are in the 2-3" range and will not be caught on conventional gear. I fished for a few hours on Sat. I can say that I caught my smallest fish ever at Henry's and it was around 12". This is far from the norm. I would say that my Henry's lake fish over the years have averaged 19-20" with very few under 18". I only fish certain parts of the lake and I am sure that there are rookeries where smaller fish can be caught regularly. None of my friends boated any huge fish on Sat. but there were several over 18" caught.
Just as a side note I hope that we can all work on being courtious when we fish at times when the holes are congested. There were at least 20 boats packed into the hatchery. I left after having my hole crossed twice by a guy in a pontoon boat. The state boat ramp was worse. People were acting like idiots at the sight of the splashing fish near shore. It was litteral combat fishing.
Good Luck
