The coho aren't up as far as the foote dam as of yesterday .
I did manage 4 rainbow trout . The three smallest were all keeper size , but released on accident . I misread the D.N.R. Trout booklet , Lakes are 15" and over , Streams 10" and over. My first three were 14",13"and 15".
Then a few bass hit , little guys , back they went .
Next was a master anglers patch , a freshwater drum or "sheepshead".
I will post the pic later but a whopping 29" in length and a girth of 22" , I thought it was a carp !!!!
After that came another rainbow , nice sized .
I would almost go as far as calling it a steelhead , but they aren't in the river yet , they follow the coho in and this female had egg sacks in early development .
The minominee should be around right near the end of the month after the coho run .
