Now are we talkin' flies or bait? Fly hooks (size 12-32) are a lot thinner than a bait/worm/treble hook. If you want to know how fast a hook rusts up, try wetting down a few flies, place them back in your fly box. Come back a week later and just see how much hook you have left. Or see how easy the hook breaks off.[]
