I made my $82 donation to the Idaho F & G for the year and met Brian at Weston Tuesday. I guessed the ice was 15". Yeah, Brian was going hot and heavy when we showed up to drill our holes. The bite did slow down as it got closer to noon. Even though I couldn't out fish Brian, I did catch more than my son Joseph. He usually does better than the old man. It was a great day sharing the ice. He kept thanking me for taking him. He is used to catching the small planter trout in Utah, and is blown away every time he fishes in Idaho with me at the size and quality of fish there. One fish came unhooked just barely out of the hole and he dove into the water with his hands and scooped the nice rainbow out onto the ice. Thanks for the help Brian. You made it a great day. Acey
