Rexburg ID

[cool]Hey windriver, what are these "nature ponds," where are they located, and how come I have never heard of them? I went to Ricks College a few years back (haven't been back there since '96) and back then I had never heard of any "nature ponds."

We used to fish near Beaver Dick (LOL) Park once, but mostly at the Snake River near a place called Twin Bridges, or something like that out towards that "Big Judds" burger joint (can't remember the name of that tiny little town). On the Snake down there we'd cast Panther Martins and catch some nice Browns. Also, once we fished at a place called Lower Mesa Falls, and nailed a bunch of trout (don't recall which variety) with spinners also (in the summertime-probably couldn't get there right now).

But tell me about these nature ponds, please. I'm curious about them.
