And varies from one dictionary to the next not to mention from publication to republication.[/size][/font][/left]
[font "Tahoma"][size 3]In the old English dictionary God not only stands for a supreme being but also is the word that stands for “all that is good”. This was the case when this verse was composed. [/size][/font]

Then the power of words was a work of art, today a word does not stand a chance in standing for its own meaning. Hence lawyers (word specialist) every one has his or her own meaning for what a word is supposed to mean rather than taking the word for its meaning from the individual who speaks it. (hence the politition - a twister of words, one who tends to sway people to one side or the other by using the same words and giving them different meanings to fit the audiance) [/size][/font]
