Rough handling during gill net study at Jordanelle

I learned a lot today in trying to get some answers on how this is done. Whether I've just been naive or ignorant, I always thought gill net samplings were non-lethal. Wrong. I learned they're a necessary evil and a valuable management tool.

I'll see if I can also find out how we anglers can participate in these samplings.
