It was a rough day to say the least. I think the sudden temporature drop has caused a lazy pattern. I was tent-bound and found it difficult to hook anything. Had 2 nibbles and one big hit that I missed because I was busy warming my hands by the lantern. My rod nearly went in the hole.
On the fish finder we were spotting some fish, big and small, but they didn't want to coorperate.
I am praying for calm weather on the 26th. If the conditions are the same with the wind I will be prepared to head to another location whether it be hard water or the runny kind.
The little stunt @ rockport was fun even though the catching blew. I also didn't have th eright tackle but it was cool seeing a fish caught by Mike. We both also hooked up again but lost those.
At Rockport there was little ice building at the dam and I heard by the inlet on the south end there was some safer ice. Not much though.
