I have had this past week off and have concentrated on salt water. Fishing from cabrillo pier brought in two short fluke on two ounce red jig heads tiped with squid trailers. to the jetties between long beach and seal beach. I would like to target fluke as my prefered catch.
I have seen a few float tubers out thier wondering if any of you guys may have tried this. Is the wind a pain in the rear or is thier a tactic to help control your drift. Do you have any recomendations for a particullar float tube that may be preffered.
Will be going back to pier J today have had the best luck overall thier. again squid and jigs.
