EAST MATAGORDA Trout are good on the reefs on She Dogs, Super Spooks and pumpkinseed Bass Assassins, Trout Killer II's and Norton Sand Eels. Redfish are fair to good in Lake Austin on live shrimp and crabs.
MATAGORDA Redfish are good on topwaters and live shrimp in Oyster Lake and the north shoreline of West Bay around Shell Island. Trout and redfish are fair to good on black Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels around Green's Bayou.
PORT O'CONNOR Trout and redfish are good on the reefs in San Antonio Bay on live shrimp, topwaters and gold spoons. Bull redfish are good on mullet and shrimp at Pass Cavallo. Trout and redfish are good in the back lakes on live shrimp and topwaters.
ROCKPORT Trout are fair to good on Long Reef on Bass Assassins and live shrimp. Redfish are good on the Estes Flats on mullet and live shrimp. Trout and redfish are good on topwaters in Copano Bay and on the backside of Mud Island.
PORT ARANSAS Trout are fair to good around Shamrock Cove on red/white Super Spooks and red shad Bass Assassins, Sand Eels and Trout Killers. Redfish are good on the East Flats on live shrimp under a popping cork. Offshore is good for red snapper and kingfish.
