Well you are in for a treat. There are a ton of boats that can take you out on a vriety of trips. For 1/2 and 3/4 day trips you can get by fairly inexpensive. The first that comes to mind is Long Beach Sportfishing ([url "http://www.longbeachsportfishing.com/"]http://www.longbeachsportfishing.com/[/url]) they have some great promotional trips with prizes and things around that time that would be worth checking into some more.
Because I lived close I never really stayed in the hotels so I can't be much help there but I am sure you will get some great tips from the other users of this board.
Lastly be sure to check back here as the departure time for your trip nears because some of the guys who have recently been out fishing can tell you what is hot.
