as of your 9/7 report ... i know exactly what you mean..
i was out on 9/6..
theeeee hottest and dryest day i've had on the ocean.
had some current, but like i said "i swear the fish were on vacation too"... skipper took us from east to west then 5 miles out open water then back to the west.. then back waaayyyyy east..
and lemme tell u ...he was trying hard to find some fish.
and boy was HOT! spf50 wouldnt have saved you in that weather we had that day... burned to a crisp.. lol
atleast we got to see lots and lots and i mean lots of dolphins.
got a free show for a good 20 - 30 mins
they were every where.
sometimes i think they dont even use their fish finders anymore..
back in the days i remember the skipper tellin us where the fish were at and tell us how far to drop our lines.
but i guess that was back in the days.
(note to self: next time that happens.. need to remind the skipper to TURN ON the fish finder...otherwise some one might get smacked up side the head.. =P)
well all in all atleast you got to see some one catch some fish
our fish report for thatday was a big fat lie.
1 baby cuda was snagged and escaped as he was being brought up
saw only 8 calicos including mines that i tossed back (was jackpot winner if i hadnt tossed it back)
and about 20 bonitas and a good 25 burned anglers
