Hello AB,
I hear you, I had a pretty tough go my first time out but am going to give it another go tomorrow.
I am going to try and register for the tournament tomorrow also unless its full. I figure I might get lucky and either way it should be a good time and a chance to promote these boards a bit.
I was thinking about trying some swim baits? With all the trout in the reservoir you would think the swim baits would work? What do you think? I also hit the Utah board and got a bunch of bait advise there that I am going to try tomorrow. I'll let you know how it goes.
Lastly, tell me what you think of this. I fished Coyote Ridge last time and there was most definitely fish there (they were breaking water) but they were not biting on anything. My thought was because Coyote Ridge is so close to the entrance that it is fished so heavily the fish are a bit more line shy. Tomorrow I am going to the opposite side of the lake and try Howbert Point?
I'll let you know how it goes.
