FISHING: Good
It is coming back and quickly. This cooler weather has awakend the bugs and life is good, again. Can the BWOs be far away?
Do not be afraid to throw two fly rigs!!! It works with dries as well as nymphs. A nice soft hackle/PMD emerger/chironomid (Size 20) about 15 inches behind a Parchute Adams can make your day.
Nymphs: Size 16-20 Flashback Pheasant Tails, 14-18 Soft Hackle Pheasant Tails, 12-16 Prince Nymphs, 18 Bubble Top Pheasant Tails, 16 Red Copper Johns, 16-18 Bird's Nests, 18-20 WD-40s, 18-20 Zebra Midges, 18-20 Suspended Midges and San Juan Worms(red, orange or maroon), Scuds (orange and olive)!
Dries: Parachute Adams, X-Caddis, Comparaduns, Elk Hair Caddis, Renegades and Griffith's Gnats. Sizes 16/18 are working well!
