FISHING: Fair
Daily Stage and Stream Flow [click here]
McKenzie River: Fair for trout. Level is 2,160 cfs @ Vida. Level at Walterville 1,070 cfs. Try Brown and Olive Caddis, Baetis and a few October Caddis are showing. Swinging Soft Hackles is a good method. Rain from recent storms will cool water temps and fishing should improve. Upper river has been the best bet. Evenings still offer the best fishing.
