Wilson River - August 28th, 2004

Fishing has been scattered from Nehalem to the Wilson River. Haven't heard of any hot spots but fish are being taken. Starting this next week, the Tillamook Bay will start kicking in with our fall chinook. For the Wilson River, my friend, Vu took his buddies upstream, Brian and Gordie, very early this morning working a stretch of water. How the water changes from day to day noticing how fast the water has cleared from yesterday. Using a pink worm, Brian hooked this beauty and Gordie netted. What a great day spending time with your best friends fishing the majestic Wilson River and landing a chrome steelie. Way to go fellas! Good fishing to you all, Marilyn
