had me 1 steelhead hit yesterday , big one too . i didn't see him but, i can tell the diferance in the way it struck , a quick hard steady pull that sent the adrelin pumping !!!
saw guys land three kings on the shallow side of the coffer early in the morning then my steelie and another that got landed below the dam . there still hitting good below the weir but once the fish get into the brush areas you might as well give up .
fish eggs are a mixture of maturitys , some just starting on the females , some already squirting as you land them .
i guess there not sure about the time left before ol man winter returns too .
