I've tried bread and floating dog/trout food. The biggest problem then is the ducks and seagulls crowd in as well. So I generally chum bottom stuff.
If you could fish off the docks I could catch 100's a day but it's a pretty steep fine. Also in an earlier post, someone had said you could fish with a boat for carp inside the marinas. I've checked out two of the marinas and both don't allow fishing within the tires. There are a couple of more but I've been told it's the same at all of them. I'm gonna email the fish and game commission and get the scoop from them directly.
If you ever get the time go throw a bag of popcorn off the docks at Mead and watch the feeding frenzy that occurs. I saw a small child dump a whole bag at once and the results were amazing.
Does anyone know where I can purchase Range Cubes at? They are supposed to be awesome carp/catfish chum and it also attracts baitfish so crappie/largemouth would be attracted as well.
Later guys,
Mark
