OT- Questions about Utah - OT
#22
I grew up in Utah and after being away for seven years, have been back here ever since. You first need to decide how close you want/need to be to the big cities. If you decide you need to be close, Farmington, Bountiful or the other communities in that area would be good choices. If you decide more rural fits the bill, The Basin (Vernal area) would be a great location (close to Flaming Gorge and countless other outdoor areas), the area around Manti would be great for outdoor activities. Logan is nice, but one must realize how cold it gets there in the wintertime. The snow doesn't melt, it eventually wears out! I think that you will find quality schools in most areas, with the possible exception of a few areas in SLC and close surrounding areas and if you decide to locate in a tiny community the choice of subjects might be limited.
