Just want to support what some others have said. As far as schools go, Davis County schools are very good both academically and athletically. The only problem is that the high schools are some of the largest in the state. (1500+) which can lead to a great disconnect between students and their school. Being a teacher at one of them (I'll let you know which one if you wish) I can tell you that when my kids are old enough, I hope I have moved to an area with a smaller school. In my experience it just provides for a richer experience with more opportunities to be involved. That said, the Morgan area would be my choice for some place near the Wasatch Front. However, I do feel Kayote hit it on the head about the Vernal area. If I ever do move, that is the place I plan on re-locating to. There is so much to do in that area (outdoors oriented of course) that it is [#ff0000]amazing![/#ff0000]
My only problem will be convincing my wife that it is safe to move more than 5 minutes from her evil sisters![crazy]
P.S. If you need more detailed information on Davis County Schools, send me a PM and I'll share what inside info. I have learned over the past 2 years.
