I tried the Yucatan knot and for me, it does not work well with light leader and braid.  This post is a perfect example of why Knot (pun intended) to ask about knots.  Everyone has their own reasons why they like a particular knot or knots and no one will agree.  It is another fine example of the Ford, Chevy, Dodge truck discussion and which one is better, or knot!  LOL

"A man convinced against his will is of the same opinion still".  We fisherfolk tend to be opinionated.  I have always liked the quote  "My mind is made up.  Don't try to confuse me with the facts."  

But always good to discuss things and to uncover new options...even if we are dead set against even giving  them a try.

Where is the ‘super easy to tie’ braid to flouro for a one handed guy?

Sorry.  I only know how to tie knots for guys with only one eye.  You may have to renew your Force membership and check in with Yoda for that one.  Otherwise, use your good hand to hold a gun on someone who you can "force" to tie the knots for you.  Crossbow might work too.  I hear tell you have some skills with that weapon.
