I seen a FB post a couple weeks back showing the ice around the edges opening up then in Sheepcreek, and it's been warm and opening up everywhere else since then, so I would assume it's got some open water by now... Maybe Ryan will see your post and give you a first hand update... I PM'ed you and Ryan hopefully he will see it soon enough to get you some info before you have to take off on the trip...
