DC on soft water
#1
Fished Deer Creek yesterday. Launched the boat from the main marina right at 7:30 am. There was a kayak and 2 float tubes that launched right behind me. There were a bunch of shore fishermen and a few more boats joined later. Trolled standard kokanee blades and squid. Started off a little slow, but when I found the spot they turned on. Ended at 11:30 with 21 rainbows to the boat - all were returned for another day. It was beautiful weather. The ramp was ice free and there was open water almost to rainbow bay. I knew that the weather was going to  turn cold for the weekend so got in my shot to get out.
