Banana on board!

I had never heard of this and get a good chuckle out of how superstitious anglers can be. I have eaten so many bananas out fishing and have never noticed that my catch rates vary. My standard take along breakfast is a bagel w/cream cheese and a banana. It is also my morning pack breakfast out hunting and it doesn't affect that either.

Anyone want to go fishing? I have to warn you that a banana will more than likely be on board!?

[font]Paul, I have heard that superstition since I was a kid, but no one could, or would ever explain where it came from. Probably something pretty old, kinda like the old belief that women on board a ship was bad luck.   I tend to believe that one more than the banana one, at least for me. My wife on the boat with me, about 75% of the time means she out fishes me , even without a banana on board.[/font]
