Took a look at the ice situation today and other than Walsberg Bay and north of the Charelston Boat ramp the rest of the lake only has a few sheets of skim ice that break up when a breeze kicks up. There was a half dozen boats out trolling today.
On a side note the State Parks has changed around the Charelston ramp by removing the K-rail and installing wood post so that people can launch a boat again. I never thought that they would allow launching there again but this will open up the north end of the lake to smaller craft that don't want to travel up from the other ramps.
