Thanks Ben, It was quite a year... Is there a chance you could make the award dinner? Will be Nov. 15th in Layton at Holy Smoke Barbeque at 5:00, I think, if I remember correctly... Would be great to have you there so we can meet in person and also to get you your prizes... It's a fun evening of visiting with fellow anglers, not too formal of an event, but usually a good time...

Contest is a lot of fun over the summer, even if it does become a bit of an addiction for some of us... Sure did have fun fighting some of those fish, they really had me squealing like a kid at times... Funny some of my best battles were from smaller fish... One 26"er I had snagged in the vent fin and I was sure that fish was a monster, it took me close to 15 minutes to get it up off the bottom after multiple reel stripping runs... Sure was disappointed with it's size, but will remember it's gallant battle... It takes quite a fish to resist my heavy duty line, reels and rods for that long... That set up can winch in most fish, pretty quick.

Yup it was a fun contest and I'm glad you guys all get into it to help keep me interested so I get out more often... It's too easy for me to get too busy and I miss out on the fun that I have in this crazy contest.. Thank you... Later Jeff
