I wouldn't worry too much about a riveted hull. I've had my 14 ft. Lund for 11 years and no leaks.(Lunds have been riveted for decades) Except when I don't get the plug in good and tight []. But never so much water in the bilge that the pump can't spit it out in just a few seconds. We have been flying aircraft that are just millions of rivets held together with a coat of paint. And the heavies I worked on in the A.F. put lots more stress and G forces on those rivets than any small fishing boat will ever encounter. You got a good vessel there. She will serve you well for many years. Fact, the boat will probably last longer than the motor.
