So what happened that they trashed your truck? We're the goats in it at the time? We're you back country camping most of the time when you seen the bears and they didn't bother you? Or the goats? I've been seeing a lot of Bear the last few trips and other than stealing our fish we had chilling in the stream, they didn't bother us, but they were a little friendlier than I felt comfortable with. Pretty much just hung around the outskirts of our camp and weren't afraid of us at all.
So it sounds like my boys should be old enough to start helping out with the packing, I'll have to see how they do with weight on their backs. They don't like the dles very much, but I'm just starting them with the dles. They sure are good buddies, a little full of mischief but that makes them fun. They got a little fat on me over the winter on the baled hay, but they seem to be trimming up and shaping up now they are back on pasture. I do need to exercise them more, but it's hard to find enough time to take them for more than a half hour walk. Anyway, thanks for checking in, it's been fun. Later Jeff
