BovineOwner I agree with you about the time and energy so this be a short and sweet post and this will be last post either of us post about politics(at least for a long time)! It isn't just Utah's government who has historically sold public lands...this has happened in all states. That 70% number and other high numbers in some other states is because the states have already sold 50 or more % of their land. It would actually be above 50% state owned land if they hadn't sold so much of their land. Maybe if someone like Mike Weinholtz instead of Rob Bishop was in charge of my land I would a little less worried about the public lands. Like you said, politicians will decide what do do with it if it becomes in state hands and trust me, I know what Rob Bishop's decision will be. But no more politics haha. Time to just enjoy life.
