Your right about politics. I hate them too! But as long as politicians make policies, you and I will have things to agree and disagree about. []
By the way, YOU CANNOT HUNT IN A NATIONAL PARK! Look it up. A monument yes but not in a Park.
Burning down forests comes from banning all logging in huge tracts of national forests in the west. Then the dreaded pine borer beetle showed up and killed huge groves on trees. Then a lightning strike or cigarette starts hundreds of thousands of acres on fire! And even when the Forest Service and BLM saw the destruction from those fires, they refused to change policy, because they would rather watch forests burn than upset the radical environmental groups who's agendas they follow! The fear of lawsuits over logging trumps (no pun intended) the health of the ecosystem!
Utah may have sold some state land. But look up the total acres of federally owned and state owned land in Utah. Over 70%!!!! Yours and my state land in this new monument WILL BE TRADED! For what? Politicians will decide what we get back in return. WHAT IF WE DONT WANT TO TRADE????
I don't have the energy or time to continue to argue with you amigo. We see things completely different. That is cool. I wish you well in your career and in life an especially in fishing![]
