No way! Don't be afraid to toss some mice anytime. I use to hear that you should only use them at certain times and certain times of day (like at night), but I have disproven that theory too many times. I have tossed mice mid day on the Provo and had giants come get it. Mix it up and find what works best for you. I had some chasers a couple weeks ago, but no hook ups. Still a rush though anytime you can fish a streamer like a dry and see them come after it.
