I guess I did not post this here, on day 3 of my 14 day elk hunt I filled my second archery elk tag with this bull at 6.5 yards, perfect frontal shot, went 80 yards and piled up, small 6x5, boned and in the cooler at camp in about 7 1/2 hours,

ok, now im downright jealous. i coulnt find an elk in idaho in an elk ranch. at very least, youre going to have to give me lessons on scouting.

I can do that.... Where do you hunt? I'm good at finding elk spots, I've done it a couple different times....
