Electric Drill Auger Adaptors

The Ice Kicker and Ice Kicker 2 look pretty impressive. Has anyone tried one of these? I'm considering buying the Ice Kicker 2 adaptor since I already have a 7" Lazer auger and an 18v Makita drill with 2 batteries. Do they work as well as they do in the You Tube videos?

not only have I not seen it in use, i have not even seen it in the stores I am privied to.

I watched the U tube vid, and I must say that it dose look inpresive, especialy being used on a mora style auger.

It did look as he was exerting some weight on the auger, but that can be an illusion, mostly because to much weight on a mora style auger will cause the blade mount to bend and for ever be worthless even with compensating shims.

I do like the extra handle concept, it ads for a more perpendicular cut and stibility when breaking though.

all this info is just from my viewing the vidio, I will be looking for it on the ice this winter, but I am sure you will see it in use long before I will, because in the past decade I have only seen ice in december a cople years, and another couple we didnt see ice till february

maybe in a couple weeks they may have one in a store near me, gander mountain or bass pro.

Some of the lakes get a little capped over and then the wind blows it all south, but there are very cold days coming up, so that should do it. I'll post with pictures when I get this thing in the mail and try it out.[/size][/#000000][/font]

I ended up getting a strike master gas auger a while back so I am good to go for at least ten years I figure, but still would like to see how this fairs to the ice you guys get up your way.

I have one and it works really good. I usually could drill 8 or more holes using a cheap 18v drill. It's a great idea if you only go a couple times a year.
