lake puett is close to summit lake .puett is in the colo state wildlife area

Never been there or heard of it before. Of course I don't fish the mtn lakes too much as my truck won't pull my boat up the hills! LOL
Have you checked out the Division of Wildlife website for colorado? I think it's [url "http://www.wildlife.co.us"]www.wildlife.co.us[/url] or something like that. They might have a current report and regulations information. [signature]

what i am looking for is a good smallmouth lake or a good walliye lake that is cool . it is real hot here in phx in the summer to go fishing.[email][dan

Most of the walleye action is on the eastern plains but it gets hot out there too. I've never been to sanchez reservoir which is in southern colorado, maybe on the western slope, but heard they have pretty good walleyes. Smallies would pretty much be Pueblo Res. which is hot too. You may have to go Canada! LOL
