[cool]Ya really know how to put on the pressure, dontcha? It's been awhile since I fished for the rainbows. Used to get some big ones back in the days before the striped predators ate them faster than they could be dumped from the truck.
I have hung some of the big stripers out of there too. But, that is usually a lot of casting heavy lures between brief periods of bent rods and cramped forearms. I enjoy catching them, but not chasing them.
The Sea of Cortez is 2 hours closer, and I catch a fish per cast there...all day long...of thirty or forty different species. Not as much competition from "amateurs" either.
Thanks for the heads up.

well those stripers have figured it all out, and its a good time to catch them too, they herd those rainbows up quite nicely . . .within casting distance from shore usually . .
