[][font "Comic Sans MS"][size 4] i took a day off because i couldnt get any1 to go to belmont so i went fishing with tubbin arron and we got a lot carp on bread and i had one of those long graphite extendo rod thing i picked up at wal-mart and that got pulled in and was pulled in all over the place and then i got him up. i lossed a lot on that rod that either broke off or missed hook set. i want to float tube that lake one day. its small but hopefully i wont get caught! ahah later see ya on the flip side![/size][/font]

[cool]If you fish for fun, you can't beat carp for some good hand-to-fin combat. They definitely stretch your string and bend your stick. In Europe there are probably more serious carp fishermen than trouters.

My only advice on the tubing thing. Respect the law and don't float your tube where it is not allowed. Unless...if there are some big bass that will bite after dark...and you can pull it off without getting caught. I gotta admit that I (and many other tubeaholics) have been guilty of the midnite marauder thing on golf courses and private lakes. Heck, even if you don't catch many fish, there's an adrenaline rush everytime a set of headlights sweeps over you. It's almost like the scenes in movies where prisoners are trying to escape from jail or concentration camps. The good news is that some of those forbidden ponds are full of hungry fish that have never been molested. There's nothing like the blast of an 8 pound bass on a topwater bait six feet from your rodtip, in pitch blackness. Pacemaker time.

[][font "Comic Sans MS"][size 4]man this lake is never patrolled and there are a lot of fish no one knows about. its like a pond no bigger than 100x100'. its small but hold fish and a lot of them. if i do get caught they will tell me to get out and thats it. theres no signs telling me not to float in there. ok i will respect the laws. see ya on the flip side![/size][/font]
