Lower Bolton Lake

Got on the water at 6:00 and put the rain gear on right off. [ can we for once fish without raingear? ] This is a real nice lake to fish, with it's 6mph limit, low amount of weed. We caught fish during the rain and when the cold front came in the bite stopped. Did grab two more around 12:30 before we called it quits at 1:00. Mixed bag of lgmouth, smallies and a pickerel. Nothing big here with 13" being our biggest. Caught them on sencos,crawdads,creature baits, rattletrap and white fluke. Even got one on gulps sandworm. See pic. This lake will be revisited by us.

i know what you mean,about the raingear,i was talking to don and joe while we we out,i have own my rain gear for 3 years,only put the coat on twice in that time ,the past 3 weeks i have worn the complete suit.

nice to see you had good luck,even in the rain,thats funny you landed that smallie on a sand worm,i guess he was hungry LOL
