went fishing yesterday, off the dock.
ofcorse I forgot to bring the pole and tackle box.
some one else showed up to fish so I sat around shootin the bull all afternoon. he caught a dozen 8 inch gills.
It wasnt a total loss, my dog treed a squril. hope I can find a peice of ground to hunt this fall where I dont have to worry about some one wanting to shoot a wolf.
the water is worming up to fast. the gills should not be in the shallows yet, but they are. my wolf has already done her major shed this year. normaly she dosnt start till mid may, she is just about all done now. I fear for a drought this year, a bad one....

watching fishing is almost as fun as doing some fishing , of course when a kid is involved , watching is definatly better . some of the things they come up with is just priceless !
ya know , you and dog are more than welcome to mosey up my way fer the fall hunt [cool]!
all the small lakes are giving up some black crappies right now , 6 t0 8 feet down , nothing on the beds yet , but as one of my buddies says , "the water has to warm up another 8 degrees before they start hitting .

she would be running back and forth, from the tree where she would have your kitties parked and our chair where the beer is parked, [shocked]
she goes out in the boat with me all the time,
I will be going out for the trout opener this weekend.

Dog attracted more attention than a cute little puppy at cheerleading camp , that's a lot of attention !
Anybody and everybody that was at the pier came up to say howdey to the dog .
If only my dog could be that well behaved [crazy].
