Its good to hear you getting back in to fishing. Thanks for the report, yesterday was a good day to be out, I think all this next week will be good.

just got back from Hudson Lake.... didn't really do all that well (very windy). only caught 2 pretty good size smallmouth bass but none that we're keepers. hoping to get out this week some time to goto Lost Nations to go just jumbo bluegill and rock bass fishing.

Forgive me if I'm wrong... but I don't think it is legal to be targeting bass right now, not saying that you were targeting them.

you are absolutly right, that is the new law that went in to affect last year.
but one cant tell the fish that they are not suspost to not hit when the season is not open.
there are always exceptions to the rule. privetly owned ponds and lakes. do not take them off the property because you will be prosicuted.
