Phesant hunting

Here in Kansas Phesant season is getting close. I want to go but we live in the eastern part in Kansas. So we would have to drive a while to get to the phesnats. I've been hearing this year is supposed to be really good. My dad went phesant hunting once a long time ago, he was probably 18 or 20 years old. So he doesn't remember where he went to hunt. I was wondering if you guys go Kansas phesant hunting? If you do could you tell me where you hunt In kansas.
