Hawkins
#1
I left Chesterfield and got to Hawkins around 1 pm. There is 3 inches of ice, the water way below the boat ramp. There were three people on the ice and they had two, 2 pound rainbows. I put out a few poles and my new camera. I only saw four fish. But one came in fast and I set the hook before I felt it. A nice fat 1 1/2 pound rainbow.
The water was murky. I think I could do better with plain sonar. I did see one other nice fish touch my jig twice but no bite. I want to try it again at first lite. Maybe Monday.[Image: 20201202-144430.jpg]

Thanks for the report. I need to take a ride and check out that loop between Daniels and Hawkins someday. I’ve never been there. Glad you got some tugs. Later Jeff
When things get stressful think I'll go fish'en and worry about it tomorrow!

I'm glad your finding some new ice to fish, I'm looking forward to getting at it again Saturday at Henry's with you, I'll give you a call later to confirm the plan.
