My "Go To" Knot!
When plugging or surf casting braid a wet braid knot could slip under extreme applied pressure. I've found simply doubling the process of tying a palomar knot works well. For thicker braid you'll need to apply lubrication to the braid to cinch the knot. For the past few weeks i've been fighting sharks, trevally, & large rays with no problems with the modified palomar.
