Mantua slow

Went to Mantua looking for some bass. Water level is low. There is lots of moss.

I did manage a couple of smaller bass but had to work hard for them.
I've never seen so many frogs. Should've gone frog hunting instead.

They are doing some work around the reservoir. They had pipe piled up all around. Not sure what they are doing.

tks for your post -- I feel your pain on Mantua...sure hope things turn around....very slow the few days I tried there last ice season, but I've never tried the soft deck..Guluk..

Thanks for the report. I was going to go there this morning for half of a day, but I think I will hit oneida instead. The frogs are fun to mess with. They will hit a small jig plopped in front of them on the weeds and moss. There is a sizable bullfrog population there too and they are aggressive and it's like teasing a cat to try catching them. Their legs are good fried also!
