Fished Boyd opener this morning, water temp was 40.5 at start and 40.7 at 1 pm. Found one walleye spawning area, caught 2 walleye and lost 1 real good one. The one 17 1/4 in. Was spewing all over my boat.

Good for you Chuck, glad to hear someone is getting in on the pre spawn eye bite. Shouldn't the spawn be starting in the next week or two?

Hey Curt, yea they should start spawning in the next couple of weeks.
I will be going again Thursday if the weather is ok.
